You will need:

• YarnArt Jeans yarn (55% cotton, 45% acrylic, 50 g/160 m): main and additional color, small amounts of black and white
• 1.7 mm crochet hook
• 7 mm safety eyes
• Sewing needle
• Scissors
• Pink blush or pastel chalk (optional)
• Fiberfill stuffing

Abbreviations:

R – row
ch – chain
sc – single crochet
inc – increase (2 single crochet in 1 stitch)
dec – decrease
sl st – slip stitch
[…] – number of stitches you should have at the end of the row
(…) – repeat whatever is between the brackets the given number of times

AMIGURUMI CROCHET MINI PUG DOG PATTERN

Head and body (one piece)

Stuff as you go.

With main color yarn:
R 1: 8 sc in magic ring [8]
R 2: (inc) repeat 8 times [16]
R 3: (1 sc, inc) repeat 8 times [24]
R 4: (2 sc, inc) repeat 8 times [32]
R 5-7: 32 sc (3 rows)

In the next row we will crochet the muzzle (bobble stitch) on with additional color yarn.
R 8: 15 sc, bobble stitch (3 unfinished double crochet stitches clustered together), 1 sc, bobble stitch (3 unfinished double crochet stitches clustered together), 14 sc [32]
R 9-10: 32 sc (2 rows)
Insert safety eyes between R 8 and R 9 close to the muzzle.
In the next row we will crochet the arms on with additional color yarn.
R 11: 11 sc, bobble stitch (4 unfinished double crochet stitches clustered together), 9 sc, bobble stitch (4 unfinished double crochet stitches clustered together), 10 sc [32]
R 12-14: 32 sc (3 rows)

In the next row we will crochet the legs on with additional color yarn.
R 15: 11 sc, bobble stitch (4 unfinished double crochet stitches clustered together), 9 sc, bobble stitch (4 unfinished double crochet stitches clustered together), 10 sc [32]
R 16: (2 sc, dec) repeat 8 times [24]
R 17: (dec) repeat 12 times [12]
R 18: (dec) repeat 6 times [6]
Pull the tail through the last stitches and tighten.
We tighten the opening by the front loops and weave in the ends inside.

Using a black yarn, we embroider a nose. And eye whites with a white yarn (optional).

Ears (make 2)

With additional color yarn:

Attach the yarn to the R 5, make 3 ch, from the 2nd chain from hook: 2 sc.
Then make 1 sl st into the stitch you attached the yarn so that the ear is folded towards the body. (The wrong side of the single crochets faces up.)
Fasten off.

Tongue (optional)

Attach a pink yarn under the muzzle in the middle.
Make 2 ch, 1 sc in the stitch you attached the yarn.
Fasten off.

You can tint the cheeks using a pink blush, crayon or pastel chalk.
